Description
Design for a book cover for, "The Pathway to Science," by C. Kenneth Mees. Against a blue ground, a large brown vase, with a line drawing of a cloven and horned animal in right profile superimposed over the neck of the vase. Above and to the left, a single yellow star. Overlapping the right side of the vase, at bottom, a white trapezoid in outline, surrounding a yellow sun or moon surrounded by blue and white clouds. Across top of image, in blue and white text: THE PATHWAY / TO SCIENCE. At bottom of image, in blue and yellow text: BY / C. KENNETH MEES. Surrounding the image, graphite framing lines.
