Description
(a): Bisque dinner plate with narrow marli. (b): Glazed dinner plate, same shape. (c): Glazed dinner plate decorated iwth planograph "Whaling" after woodcut by clare Leighton. Legend, mark and signature on back. (d): plaster mold of inside of plate; bottom with circular cavity to fit on machine called "jigger".
