- Description
- The limp body of Christ ascends above clouds, guided by the crowned, bearded, and robed figure of God, beneath an open-winged bird, flanked on either side by groups of winged angels bearing the Instruments of the Passion. Anthropomorphized as human heads, the winds blow in four directions, below. Signed 1511, AD at bottom center.
