Description
Vertical rectangle. The supporting female figures that appear in 1938-88-653 stand upon parts of fluted columns as pedestals. They carry in their raised hands, which face each other, trumpets to which rinceaux are fastened unilaterally. Three burning candles are on each stick. The girl at left carries in her lowered right hand a basket, the other in her left hand a pitcher. Framing line. Verso: a slight graphite sketch of 1938-88-5810, with shorter candles.
