- Horizontal rectangle. At left, the right half of the sofa, supported by the legs of a lion whose head is at the front of the upholstered arm. The upholstered back is framed by mouldings with halves of palmettes at their ends shaped as two horizontal heart forms, the outer being shorter than the inner ones. The point of the outer palmette is fastened to a post consisting of leaf scrolls and palmettes. At right, an upholstered chair shown from the front, its back supported by discs with lion masks standing upon calyces. Its frame is polyangular with curved sides.
