Description
The bowl is supported by a molded base. The lid has the shape of a pedestal which is decorated at the front with an oval medallion with the representation of the baptism of Christ, hanging from a bowknot in the frieze of the entablature. The oblique sides have volutes, with cherubim above the lower spirals. Above the entablature rises another pedestal, supported a cross above a globe. Beside it sits two angels, supporting with their hands a festoon and shouldering a lily stems. Usual background.
