Description
The medal shows a Native Chieftain standing in a canoe. Inscription in the field: Niagara. Border of dolphins alternating with arrowheads. Reverse: Not struck or cast, but simply engraved with the words: Niagara Medal. Frederick MacMonnies, Sculptor. Paulin Tasset, Engraver. The design of the Niagara medal is used in the seal of the Niagara power company, President Edward D. Adams.
