- Description
- Four designs for borders, stacked vertically on the plate. From top to bottom, the borders are in the forms of: scrolling acanthus leaves and branches of leaves and flowers; a bead course in the center of the band surrounded by scrolling vines and acanthus leaves; a guilloche of flowers and leaves with rosettes in their center; a ribbon twist around a dowel, with the ribbon comprised of scanthus leaves, small leaves, and a band of carved leaf detail. The plate is signed and numbered.
