Description
Divided plan and elevation of a living room with a fireplace at center. The fireplace features ornament motifs including fluting, rosettes, and acanthus leaves. Above the mantle is a mirror with a bound reed frame with elements of garland and egg and dart above. On either side of the fireplace is a door. The left door frame features ornament motifs including rosettes and an overdoor relief with trophy of attributes of war (shield, flags, helmet, quiver). The right door features ornament motifs including guilloche of branches, rosettes in rondels, wave pattern, and an overdoor relief with cornucopia and a rondel with a scene from antiquity. The plate is signed.
