- Description
- Landscape sketch showing a view of the volcano Cotopax from the Hacienda San Antonio, north of Quito, Ecuador. In the middle distance, a gently rolling ridge with cultivated terrain frames a distant view of volcano's snow-capped cone. Prominently situated at center, Cotopaxi vents gasses and smoke from its wide crater, which are carried to the right by the wind.
