- Landscape studies showing four details of rocks and boulders atop desert hills and embankments in the wilderness near the presentday border of Israel and Jorden (then known as Palestine and Syria, respectively). In upper half of composition, two views of rugged bluffs with boulders are shown. Below, two sketches of rocks and cliffsides are visbile.
