- Description
- Landscape sketch showing a view of semi-submerged rocks on the coast of Grand Manan Island in Canada. The nearby rocky shore is minimally visible in the immediate foreground along the lower margin. Characterized by rounded, knobby forms, several large, dark rocks stand semi-submerged in shallow, reflective ocean water. Green algae grows on the nearest rock at center, and red algae grows on the side of another rock in the middle distance at center right. At far left, a nearly vertical cliff face is visible at it extends out of view. Above, an overcast sky extends to the horizon.
