Description
Landscape sketch showing a moonlit view of rolling mountains in the valleys of the Nahal Hatira and Nahal Yemin (known to Church as El Yemen Valley) in the Makhteshim-Ein Yahav Nature Reserve in present-day Israel. The rugged foreground is darkened by shadow with a prominent boulder at extreme right. In the middle distance, undulating mountains are variously illuminated by the light of the moon, including the tallest peak at left. Two stars hang in the sky above.
