Landscape sketch with high level of finish showing view of a cultivated valley in the Red Hills near Kingston, Jamaica. In foreground, mixed foliage frames the view of a valley with several distinct farms or pastures. In the middle distance, the reddish-brown ridges of the Red Hills constitute the primary focus. In the background, taller mountains are shrouded beneath dark storm clouds, which begin to precipitate at left.
