- Horizontal view of the west side of the Parthenon in the right middleground; the southern side of the Erechtheion in the center; indistinct fragments in the left middleground; architectural fragments in the right and central foreground; and a headless female statue, probably Athena, in the front of a flight of rock-cut steps beneath the Parthenon.
