- Description
- A figure of a woman in the attire of a Pope is seated on clouds and supports the mantle of a church, together with angels. A dove flies above her; more angels are attendant at right. The woman addresses herself to the kneeling allegorical figure of "Strength," while "Abundance" gazes up to her. Angels and an escutcheon are shown in the lower center. Verso: rough sketch; "Abundance" seems to be seated beside the Church. An angel flies beside the lower part of the kneeling figure of "Strength."
