Compact applied with blue and gold enamel replicated lapis lazuli, centering upon a continuous band depicting a meandering motif of stylized fern fronds applied with black, green, and white enamel, the front accented by circular placques set with rose-cut diamonds, edged with black enamel; interior fitted with a mirror and compartment
