Collected from Melissa Jones (Melissa Inez/Mrs. Solon Jones, Akimel O'odham, b. ca. 1865) and possibly from Juan Thomas (Akimel O'odham) or Petra Lewis (Akimel O'odham) in 1919 by Edward H. Davis (1862-1951, a rancher and field collector for MAI) during fieldwork sponsored by MAI.
