Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of and possibly collected by Timoleón Flores Chiriboga (ca. 1896-1936, an Ecuadorian farmer and nephew of the Ecuadorian ambassador to the US); purchased by MAI from Timoleón Flores Chiriboga in 1918 using funds donated by MAI trustee Harmon W. Hendricks (1846-1928).
