Purchased between 1957 and 1960 by Daniel F. Whiteside (1931-2017) when he was stationed at the Public Health Service Indian Hospitals in Sisseton and Pine Ridge, South Dakota; donated to NMAI in 2006 by Daniel F. Whiteside and his wife Patricia Whiteside.
