Collection history unknown; probably collected by Andrew D. Peloubet (1881-1952, an artifact collector in Athens, New York); lent to MAI by Andrew D. Peloubet in 1939; inherited by his children Severine Peloubet, Perry M. Peloubet, and Elmore M. Peloubet and purchased by MAI from them in 1952.
