Collection history unknown; purchased by Tempe, Arizona, collectors Gayland R. Mills (1920-2010) and his wife Margaret Vance Mills (1922-2016) from an unnamed dealer in Scottsdale, Arizona, circa 1965; donated to MAI by Mr. and Mrs. Gayland Mills in 1985.
