Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of archaeologist Gus Pope, Jr. (Gustavus Debrille Pope Jr., 1911-2002), who may have acquired them in the 1950s when he was park archaeologist at Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park (Macon, Georgia); donated to MAI in 1974 by Gus Pope, Jr.
