- Part of a set of plates purchased from the artists by Rena Alpert Cohen (1916-2003) and her husband Harold J. Cohen (1913-1997) during a visit to San Ildefonso Pueblo in 1940 and via correspondence between 1941 and 1943; donated to MAI by Mr. and Mrs. Cohen in 1972.
