Formerly in the collection of Ernest S. Carter (Ernest Sigmund Schickler, 1922-2009) and Eloise L. Carter (photographers of Native American petroglyphs and pictographs, and MAI research associates between 1964-1976); donated to MAI by Mr. and Mrs. Ernest S. Carter in 1971.
