Formerly in the collection of Harry L. Schoff (1906-1965, an amateur archaeologist active in New York State, Pennsylvania, and Florida) and probably excavated by him; inherited by his widow Dorothy Snyder Schoff (1906-1973); purchased by MAI from Dorothy Schoff through an auction of Harry Schoff's collection in 1968.
