Formerly owned by Big Knife; probably collected in 1929 by Donald A. Cadzow (1894-1960, MAI staff member 1916-1928, Pennsylvania Historical Commission staff member 1929-1956) during the Franklin Motor Expedition to the Canadian Prairies, sponsored by the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge (Cambridge, England); purchased by MAI from Donald Cadzow in 1958.
