Collection history unknown; acquired by Clara Grace Carnahan (1882-1956, a teacher of Spanish language and culture) when she lived in Lima, Peru, between 1907 and 1917); donated to MAI by Miss Carnahan in 1953 in memory of her mother, Mrs. Catherine Rebecca Gaines Carnahan (1839-1934).
