Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of Charles H. Hickman (1867-1959, a Methodist minister who worked in Oklahoma from 1915 to 1935); purchased by J. T. Fleming (1889-1968, a developer in Sun City, Florida) from Charles Hickman in 1941; purchased by MAI from J.T. Fleming in 1947 using funds donated by the Viking Fund, Inc. (The Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research, Inc.).
