Collected in 1932 by Dane Coolidge (1873-1940, a naturalist and novelist who studied the Seri in the 1930s) and his wife, sociologist Mary Roberts Coolidge (1861-1945); purchased by MAI from Mary Roberts Coolidge in 1940.
