Collected in 1934 or 1935 by Dr. Victor Wolfgang von Hagen (1908-1985, an American explorer, anthropologist, and travel writer); purchased by MAI from Dr. von Hagen through his agent, W. Lee Trenholm (William Lee Trenholm, 1899-1952), in 1935.
