Voth (Heinrich Richert Voth, 1855-1931, a Mennonite missionary and ethnographer) for the Field Museum of Natural History in 1898; acquired from the Field Museum at an unknown date by John Louw Nelson (1895-1963, a musical performer and amateur ethnologist); acquired by MAI in 1934 through an exchange with John Louw Nelson.
