Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of James Wood (1839-1925, a prominent educator in Mount Kisco, New York); inherited by his son Levi Hollingsworth Wood (1873-1956, a New York City attorney) and daughter Carolena Morris Wood (1871-1936); lent to MAI by L. Hollingsworth Wood and Carolena Wood in 1927 and never reclaimed.
