Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of Samuel Eldodt (1848-1925, an Indian trader and artifact collector in New Mexico from the late 1860s onward); acquired by the Fred Harvey Company (Indian arts dealers in the Southwest) from Samuel Eldodt or his family at an unknown date; purchased by MAI from the Fred Harvey Company in 1927.
