Purchased from Linus Logan (Cattaraugus Seneca) in 1907 by anthropologist Mark Raymond Harrington (1882-1971, MAI staff member); purchased by George Heye, presumably from Harrington's firm, Covert & Harrington, Commercial Ethnologists (New York City), in 1907.
