Collected from Theodora Octavia Dennis Cook (wife of Chief George Major Cook, Pamunkey, 1863-1954) by anthropologist Frank G. Speck (1881-1950) between 1918 and 1921; purchased by MAI from Frank Speck in 1921 using funds donated by MAI trustee James B. Ford (1844-1928).
