Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of Frederick Landsberg (1861-1935, a Victoria, British Columbia, dealer in Indian artifacts with a shop called Landsberg's Free Museum); purchased by MAI from Frederick Landsberg in 1920 using funds donated by Edith Hendricks (ca. 1849-1921, sister of MAI trustee Harmon W. Hendricks).
