- Collection History
- Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of Judge Advocate General Thomas F. Barr (1837-1916); inherited by his widow Julia Maria Barr (1841-1933); lent to MAI by Mrs. Barr and the Barr family in 1920. This item appears to have been accidentally left in MAI's possession when Thomas and Julia Barr's daughter Alice Barr Tompkins (1866-1964) reclaimed the loan collections in 1958.
